A day of curated talks, workshops, performances, stalls and music celebrating folklore, paganism, the wyrd and supernatural in Yorkshire and beyond!
Yorkshire is a county rich in alternative belief systems. Hidden away behind the dark and foreboding mill history of Yorkshire is a wealth of vibrant and fascinating folklore and pagan tradition. So why not shake off the dull and grey industrial landscape and bring it’s true colours to the light.
Join us to celebrate summer at the Leeds Folklore and Pagan Fayre!
We have a whole host of things to help you learn, explore and discover:
Talks by local experts on the historical and cultural significance of folklore and paganism
Workshops on learning tarot and exploring occult practises
Performers to entertain you throughout the day
Alternative market selling local, handmade items for the discerning witch
Food, hot drinks and alcohol available
Children and dogs welcome
Socialise and meet like minded people
All ticket categories allow access to all talks given throughout the day as well as performances and the market as well as the workshops. (spaces for workshops are limited and on a first come, first serve basis)
Please note: all faiths and belief systems are welcome to come explore and learn something new about how people live, past and present. This event runs a protected spaces policy – this means racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, homophobia, fatphobia and any other form of discrimination is not welcome here.
